Senior Pastor
Ricardo Vargas
Ricardo has served as Senior Pastor at New Hope since March 2024. He has a heart for preaching God’s word and a desire to see people grow in their walk with the Lord. Previously, Ricardo served as Associate Pastor at Faith Bible Fellowship Church in York, PA. Ricardo graduated from Cairn University (formally Philadelphia Biblical University) in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in History, and in 2017 he graduated with a Master of Arts in Religion.
Ricardo and his wife Kasha are the parents of three young boys, with another child on the way! Ricardo was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Ricardo did not grow up in a Christian home and came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of 16. Ever since, Ricardo has been very involved in the local church, actively working with youth and young adults, and serving on church staff.
Associate Pastor
Michael Rohrer
Pastor Mike and his family have been attending New Hope since 2005. He has served as an Elder for over ten years and recently has been ordained to serve as Associate Pastor beginning in June 2021. He is married to PeggyLynne and has four children. They reside in Washington Boro, PA. Mike has served in a variety of ministry roles with different organizations over the past 20 years, mainly focused on training others in the area of discipleship.
